A native of Lorraine in France, Benoit Lorge trained as a pâtisserie chef before specialising as a chocolatier and setting up Lorge Chocolatier making handmade chocolates.
He sells his delicate, beautifully formed and flavoured chocolates online in his shop (Lorge.ie), at gourmet retail outlets and hotels. He also finds time to pass on his skills in chocolate master classes and at his ‘chocolate school’ in Bonane, just 10 minutes from Kenmare.
