Meet the members of the committee that run Taste Kerry.

John, a chef, currently completing a Masters in Culinary Arts Management, has over 30 years experience in the catering and food industries which he applies to his work on behalf of Taste Kerry.


Greg Ryan – Vice Chairperson Grey Ryan McMunns

Chef/proprietor McMunns of Ballybunion has over 25 years experience in food. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ballybunion Leisure Centre and CEO of the Atlantic Seaweed Festival. He is currently completing a Masters in Culinary Arts and Management.

Deirdre has always had a passion for food and has worked in various food and hospitality establishments throughout Kerry. Having completed her undergraduate in the field of media and sociology she decided to follow that passion and continued her studies in the area of food tourism research.

 

Julianne ReenJulianne Reen – Secretary
Julianne currently runs her own Health & Wellness business. Prior to that she worked as a chef and ran her own restaurant for 7 years. Julianne is still a great lover of food and appreciates the hard work done by those in the food industry.

Sandra maintains the Taste Kerry accounts, and enjoys working with food industry entrepreneurs in the retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors in assisting and maintaining accounts so clients can make good decisions for their businesses.

David has been a driving force in developing Tralee and the Kingdom as major food destinations. Founder of the Tralee Food Festival and committed lover of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, he campaigns to promote the quality and range of Kerry produce.
