Taste Kerry is offering you the opportunity to taste some of the finest food and drink from local Kerry producers in Tralee during the Rose of Tralee celebrations from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21st August.
SATURDAY: There will be tastings and chef cookery demonstrations using Kerry food and drink products at The Pavilion at the Festival Dome, Tralee on Saturday 20 August, from 2-5pm with Chef Noel Kean from Eabha Joan’s Restaurant, Listowel, Chef Sid Sheehan from Nourish by Nature Cookery School and Chef Mark Murphy from the Dingle Cookery School.
SUNDAY: Don’t miss the Ready Steady Cook competition featuring top chefs from Kerry as they battle it out in the kitchen against local celebrities – it will be held in the small square from 3-5pm on Sunday 21st August. Chef Philip Brazil from Sheen Falls Lodge will team up with Michael Healy-Rea to compete against Allo’s Restaurant’s Armel Whyte who will be cooking with Billy Keane. Simon Regan from Hotel Europe and Brendan Fuller will be up against Louise Brosnan from Restaurant Idas.
